Tripole™ Paddle Leads

This device is approved for use in the United States and select international markets.

The Tripole lead family, with their unique tripolar electrode array, is the only family of leads principally designed to target back pain.  Tripole Paddle leads are shielded to provide unidirectional stimulation.

Features & Benefits

Tripole 8, 8C, 16 & 16C

 Tripole Isopotential

Precise Focusing Capability

  • The only leads with an in-line transverse tripolar array1
  • Unique 3–column array effectively confines stimulation to desired fibers1
  • Anodal guarding blocks unwanted stimulation of the dorsal root fibers and allows a broader range between perception and discomfort thresholds2

Programming Flexibility

  • Up to 16 independently–controlled electrodes (Tripole 16 &16C) offer unparalleled programming combinations
  • Long midline electrode span facilitates electrical field management over a larger anatomical area for superior coverage and sustainability

Anatomically Inspired Design

  • Helps increase stability
  • Patented transverse curvature Tripole designed to conform to the cylindrical surface of the dura
  • Distance between lateral electrode columns is designed to match width between the DREZ (dorsal root entry zones) at T9–T10
